things to do Glacier National Park

I mean, I think the first one goes without saying…Glacier! Even though Glacier is in most of our backyards, go exploring and play tourist like it’s your first time going. Stop and take pictures “only the tourists take”. Buzz over to the East side of Glacier and drive around some parts of Glacier you may not see every year.  Stop and check out the famous lodges and hotels that hold years of Glacier’s history.

Polebridge is also a fun adventure! Of course that also means stopping at the Polebridge Mercantile and grabbing some delicious baked goodies! Pack a picnic lunch and see where the road takes you. Who knows, you may need your passport…maybe you will end up in Waterton National Park (the Canadian side of Glacier National Park).

Wanna stay this side of the border? Head South and check out Flathead Lake, the biggest body of freshwater West of the Mississippi River. There’s lots of places to pull off the road and park, maybe even take a quick dip!
