Best Adventure Package in Glacier Park

Best Adventure Package in Glacier National Park

If you’re looking for family activities in Glacier National Park this summer, you’ll undoubtedly be doing your research on the types of activities available, where to go, when to go, and how to pair half-day adventures to make the most of your family trip. Many choose to drive the Going-To-The-Sun road or hike around Logan Pass. However, in the peak summer months of June, July, and August, you’ll be stuck in traffic both on the road and on the trails. To make the most of your summer family vacation we recommend you get out of the traffic and experience Glacier National Park on the river and from the treetops.

A half-day whitewater rafting trip and half-day high ropes and zipline adventure park experience is the best way to get the most from your vacation!

Reasons why you should choose an adventure package during your time in Glacier National Park:

  1. It’s less crowded
  2. You’ll have a full day of excitement
  3. The weather is perfect
  4. You’ll make the most of your day

1. It’s Less Crowded

National parks have seen a massive increase in visitors in the past decade, and Glacier Park is no exception. We love sharing the beauty of the park with visitors, but we understand that some want to get out and explore more than just the road and trails. On the rivers and in the treetops you’re able to take in more of the surrounding area. The vast rivers allow you to put some distance between you and others. The treetops take you above the crowds on obstacles you wouldn’t have the chance to overcome from the ground.

2. You’ll Have A Full Day of Excitement

Be active all day long! Going straight from rafting to our aerial adventure course will leave no time for anyone in the family to get bored. The splashy whitewater rafting will get everyone’s adrenaline going, and working through our high ropes course will keep it going. Kids who aren’t a fan of heights will enjoy racing through the inflatable obstacle courses!

3. The Weather Is Perfect

The Treasure State is known for its cold winters, but that doesn’t stop the summer from bringing the heat! The summer weather will usually bring in some afternoon showers, but a large number of summer mornings are clear blue skies. A morning raft trip on the Middle Fork of the Flathead with Glacier Raft Company and an afternoon on our inflatable water obstacle course, Giant Swing, and zipline near Glacier is the best way to keep cool!

You may be thinking that it would be better to go rafting in the heat of the day, but that’s where we would disagree. The Middle Fork of the Flathead is snowmelt and glacier water, so it will not be warm. Besides, you won’t have much time for swimming as you’re going through the rapids. Rafting in the morning gives you an enjoyable mild-weathered time on the river. You can then escape to the shade of the trees in the afternoon at Glacier Highline. The Giant Swing is perfect to end your afternoon at the adventure park. You’ll drop and swing from three stories up into a swimming hole below. You can then relax around the swimming hole, staying cool in the water and in the shade of our lounge umbrellas. If you’re visiting Montana, make sure to plan outdoor adventures to take full advantage of the weather and natural beauty.

4. You’ll Make The Most Of Your Family Day

Be adventurous with your family and make lifelong memories from your summer activities in Glacier. You and your kids will be tired after a day packed with adventures, but that type of tired is one of achievement. You’ll have conquered the rapids on the river and conquered the heights on the high ropes course. You’ll have gotten the kids to put away their technology for the day and experience new things. A day of adventures will give you a day of family bonding and memories to look back on.

There it is, the four reasons why you should choose an adventure package to help make the most of your time in Glacier. If you’re looking for a family vacation rental check out these places to make the most of your time in Glacier: Lookout Tower; The Rustic Cabin; Coram Cabin.
